Fame and Fortune

When it comes to producing music, many artists to think about and ponder over money-making opportunities. There is still money to be made, but perhaps an overcrowded market of 'studio musicians and artists' has really made the opportunity to strike it rich more difficult. But things may be changing a bit as many artists tend to drop out of the race cause they couldn't seem to spark interest in many professional producers who may have connections to the Grammy's or other glamorous outlets in which many 'well-off' singers perform. It takes dedication and a passion.

If a person only seeks money, there is a possibility that they will be extremely dissatisfied and perhaps even succumb to a state of depression. Some make lots of money placing music in films and in corporate videos. There are people who pay astronomical prices to see certain performers. But what happens when what they call, a rookie, wants to break into the Music Industry?

A person must contemplate all the options necessary. A person must research certain areas of the industry such as, music royalties and certain residuals so that whenever their music is played; they'll have the dollars consistently rolling in. Now a days, many artists are taking a less pretentious approach. They are probably sick of people hounding them over money and celebrities. The star life has its ups and downs. So many hunt for stars each day only to use and abuse them. So a great security team would probably be best for many artists. Some artists just say "I'll rely on God to protect me' cause they've been stalked and hounded over what could be a huge money-making opportunity or a 'fake it til you make it stunt.' And they feel helpless without a superpower protecting them as they're constantly confronted by strangers who only want to know them for fame and fortune. So this process takes a lot of meditation and extreme planning methods.

Either way, making music is fun. If a person does not enjoy it, it'll be just like punching in and out at a day job in which some are simply miserable. Money is important as we have bills to pay. But money is not the only thing that should motivate us if we decide to be music artists. I guess some artists will keep praying in hopes of retrieving better opportunities regarding music ventures. Either way, fame and fortune is something that has caused some to fall off the edge. Are you ready? It takes a lot of meditation and planning. Some become famous and try to 'wish it away' cause so many then start following them. They're bombarded with selfishly prancing self- loathing people who want to be around stars and use them for money. But others can handle it. Others may just say 'I'll hang up in your face and this is my life.' It's odd that some don't see that you've got stars who don't go to day jobbers asking for cuts out of their pay, so why go to a star and do the same?

So it takes a natural love for music to stay in there. There could be so many hindrances to a person's natural, delightful state of happiness because you would always seem to have to watch your back. Who's out there? Who is watching you? What evil being is telling another your home address just to stalk a famous celebrity/star?

It takes a lot of courage to be famous. Moreover, it also takes dedication and lots of practice. It takes rehearsing for hours. There are so many You tubers out there, to where the salaries have drastically dropped as it pertains to music artists. There is more entertainment. But will they fall off? Many see there was no money being made or little money being made just staying on You tube unless they use certain outlets like Spotify or Apple Music to sell music. It can be done. Some are making profits and it's worth delving into. Don't give up if you're a music artist. But have a passion for it and perhaps the big dollars will come. But either way, you have to have heart. There's a big world out there and many are watching and waiting for the next big star to follow. A Christian/Gospel Artist is out there perhaps saying 'follow the Bright and Morning Star - Jesus - I'm just a vessel for a greater purpose. Is following stars healthy for just the image of fame and fortune? Of course not, there comes disappointment after disappointment. We all have our own respective dreams and lives. We can only take each day at a time. Many move to Los Angeles or New York to only get burned in their falsified dreams. Be intuitive with Business and Planning in order to be a successful talent. And then, things will make sense. Some dreams don't come true. But others become fabulous mental utopias in which some enjoy fame and fortune, but still know there is a heaven above where things will be ultimately better.

The Importance of Advertising and Promotions in Music and Other Artistry

Today's Online 'Virtual Landscape' is filled with self-proclaimed philosophers, E-Commerce Sites, Artists making EDM Music and so much more. It's lucrative that Musicians and Actors market themselves in some kind of way. Some professionals see Social Media as a 'pot' of inexperience and model wannabes. But there are ups and downs. It can be a very professional place to advertise albums, art projects and even an actor's reel production. But what else is there?

People are starting to advertise more using Google Ads and other sites like Waze. People have produced sites like Wallet Hub which generates thousands of views. I myself have accumulated thousands of views here and also especially at my Christian Site: DiscipleforCHRIST.org. So people tend to stay away from Facebook for the 'professional scoop' cause there are so many who don't have the proper education or intelligence to comment so openly on every given topic. People are starting to produce websites and search for other social means online.

The Artist must explore. After awhile, staying on You Tube and Facebook can be a downer as one probably dreams of mega stardom or at least rising above a pit where so many souls across the world scream to be heard using such mediums. Social media is a great place to market professionally if you purchase ads or post in groups. But adding 'friends' and saying 'hey I got a new album' in front of the same 'non-purchasing souls' probably won't produce a Justin Bieber or a Little Richard if you will. Hillsong, Kirk Franklin, Ariana Grande and many others have learned to go above and beyond and reach out to sites perhaps like JasonBrye.com or Rolling Stones to reach a crowd who'd perhaps take you more seriously than just 'posting updates' on Facebook. Facebook ads work, but there are many amateurs and goof offs producing FB ads as pranks and wise cracks in the midst of the ones who take it seriously and who are professional.

Don't forget to branch out. Reverbnation has had scamming issues in the past. SoundCloud Marketing is hard to get, but we've got options. Google Ads is a great place to advertise albums actually. I myself have ran ads there and others as well. I could help with that. But it's professional and people would take you more seriously, like if you posted your artwork at JasonBrye.com which is a professional organization.

Don't worry. We've got new music Apps in the works it seems. So many are joining the wave of creating music sites. There are a ton of artists out there, spread out. So there is a market. But are people buying or just listening for free? Well with marketing we'd fine out, aye? So let's market more. Let's advertise. Let's sell that music makes us feel good. It's special. People have fallen in love at concerts. People have thanked God for music. People have cried listening to certain songs. People have celebrated and been overjoyed when certain tunes played on the radio. We've got to return back to the moments where melodies captured the heart and spirits in good ways. People smiled more when music was in their ears. Let's market. Let's get out there. Music is still alive. It takes promotion. Let's promote!!!

Natural Singing Versus the Auto-Tune

Natural Singing Versus the Auto-Tune

Some naturally gifted, powerhouse singers are single-heartedly producing great music for people in America and abroad. With Soundcloud Groups flourishing on Facebook, marketing music has definitely been a purposeful task for music artists from all backgrounds. But what are the true preferences of music listeners?
With sites offering ‘upload and master’ services, many who can’t sing tremendously well are merely recording unpleasant sounds while subsequently mastering those songs utilizing auto-tune software. There are even Apps which have truly helped shape the new scope of music production. People can alter their voices to produce albums. But the listener may feel cheated due to the lack of authenticity and this perhaps substandard method may not lead to sold out performances for the eager artists. But some master and mixing audiologists, like me, can render awesomely sounding jams for years to come. But what if these artists want to perform live? Many won’t be able to authentically recreate sounds in which were delivered post-mixing and mastering. So naturally gifted artists may want to remain recollected. There is a reclamation period commencing in which many are actively searching for ravishing artist-styles revealing natural, raw talent versus quizzical sounds of manipulative record engineering. But is it always manipulation? Of course, it’s not always that. Some surely would love to perhaps create a tuneful music collection and have fun. Others desire to make money. Either way, music engineering and production is heaven sent. Music creation has allowed for many across the world to feel a touch of cheerfulness as they delve into this creative hobby and artform. Some may not be that in tune with the artists and just like the post-production sounds as well, particularly in the EDM genre.
What are main streamers doing? What is Beyonce, Kirk Franklin, Justin Bieber, Britney Spears, Rihanna, Taylor Swift and Drake doing? They have performed live and they have also been speculated to have wonderful producers cleverly engineering sounds so that people ‘feel the beat in great ways.’ So mixing and mastering is definitely a widely accepted practice among well-known performers as well. Some Christian Artists have mastered sounds for Jesus. But of course, we know that many Gospel Artists possess a spectacular gift in which they express contentment towards God for allowing them to sing so beautifully and creatively. Those runs are raw.
In addition to the details mentioned above, music mixing and mastering could reveal that there is a producer genius rather than just a one-dimensional artist who couldn’t masterfully sing live if the room were filled with stars or God. So post-production in music is closely similar to the beauty in creating after effects in film. And mixing and mastering could be a qualifiable job for many producers. Or perhaps, some just want to produce an unfaltering collection of sounds without squeaks and the inability to sing well. Album production can be exhilarating. It’s fun. But many hate being manipulated. However, album ‘add-ons’ if you will are clearly a solid practice within music production.  A call for purgatorical duties may be voiced by some, since many  want to hear artists who don’t pull a Milli Vanilli - move.
Either way, music is an awesomely crafted thing to do or profession in which many learn and make people happy. Some have made lots of money while making music. But things are changing in the industry. Music producers are said to have pocketed much of the money made in the industry so music engineering during post-production is something worth researching. Adding specialized finishes to songs are common practices. But we must be as honest and transparent as possible. Mixing and mastering is a clever addition to the ‘music game.’ Acting with transparency allows for listeners to feel confident and not to feel repulsive towards music artists who claim that they can ‘blow well,’ but are just manipulating voices while not producing great results live. Artists may probably want to let buyers of their music know if their albums have been excessively mastered if they desire to sing live. Due to lack of singing ability in person, some have actually been injured by what would be fans. Either way, post-production in music is still a necessity.
Please enquire about JasonBrye.com post-production music services. Maybe they’ll accept you as you are and love that your sounds can be ‘masterfully mastered’ by a true professional. Sounding great is still a known concernment for many artists today; therefore, the mixing and mastering of music is an imperative duty still regardless of whether there is a natural, raw talent prevalent or if the person desires to just create a fantastically sounding music album. There is surely nothing wrong with adding spiffy engineering to authentic recordings.

I reached out to Jaye Budd. And I was so thankful to get a response. Here it is, December and I was thinking it's around Christmas time; we've got to find someone who wants to promote their gracious sounds before the year's end. Jaye wanted to feel accomplished. And that he is already. Jaye pointed me to his website which follows:

www.alchemysky.org

I was filled with musical zeal as I saw a foundation dedicated to serving those who need healing through the power of music, the arts and 'the performance.' This touched my heart. It was inspirational. I looked at Jaye differently. It shows the true compassion and love for music. It's not just concentrated around the imagination of fame or money though those are great things regarding the music industry. But it's about love, reaching out to people, inspiring kids or elders and it's about making a difference.

Jaye surely makes a difference through music. I do enjoy his style. It's Classic. As a Music Producer as well, I feel a certain burst of energy that makes me want to brainstorm and work with Jaye musically. He's professional and passionate about the craft. Charisma, which Jaye possesses, goes a long way. It sure does. Please visit www.alchemysky.org and see great things on the musical horizon. It's not just music though, it's life. Enjoy what Jaye Budd has to offer. I surely did.

Is the LA Film and Recording School Good for Musicians and Filmmakers? Or Is It Just A Scam? What Are Your Thoughts?

11/26/2018

As the writer, it is best to stay objective and not be biased. But someone reached out to me in regards to being swindled. They allege that The LA Film School is the culprit. They have not been reached yet by me, but there are two sides to every story. But the allegations do follow below. We'd love to protect Singers and Musicians from scams anyway possible. But if it's legitimate, we'd love to give honor instead. JasonBrye.com is legitimate and scammers, whomever they be, make reputable companies look bad. But the LA Film School allegations follow:

While corresponding with an anonymous person, it was discovered that a party that she knows was allegedly ripped off  by the Los Angeles Film School based out in Southern California. Publicity was needed to expose this matter. The person concerned stated that this school has been sued before on numerous occasions. Upon research, the Los Angeles Film School has indeed been cited before for lewd behavior or more. This new person alleges that school credits didn’t transfer for her party and that they were swindled by the school. They claim a degree of non-professionalism is prevalent and that they were not content with how matters were handled. In their feelings, they make one believe that this school is dysfunctional. The party would like retribution or even for exposure regarding their trials with this school. If anyone else has stories regarding the alleged school of wrongful operations – The LA Film School, please email: CatchGigs.Space@Gmail.com. What are your thoughts? Have you heard anything? What are measures to rectify the situations? Are there class action lawsuits? Let’s get involved with helping one another. When people are allegedly scammed by large corporations, schools or companies; their voices should be heard.

Below you’ll find ‘emailed dialogue’ from the anonymous person voicing their complaint. It is below the link for Writer Jason Brye.

www.CatchGigs.Space

The school literally promised students full-time school hours and to provide at best, part-time school hours for a full-time tuition. Hours were so random that it made it impossible for these students to even attempt to work outside of school. Their schedules changed on a monthly basis and they would have as little as two days a week and  a few hours a day of actual classes. They make promises of connections and internships that are non-existent which is key in many fields. They promise professional teachers and staff and they are all just part-time people that are not even properly compensated by the school.(there have been several suits from the employees as well)  They have no full-time employees at all and have a woman represent their school as their Attorney, but she is not even registered with the California Bar Association. There has already been a class-action law suit and over 25 law suits on record, but that does not account for the multiple other suits that don't go on record after they are forced to settle.  They have deep pocketed insurance and they bully people into settling and signing non-disclosure agreements to remain silent.  What these kids don't understand is that just because they signed the agreement does not Mean keep their friends or family from having a voice. The Los Angeles Film School is at best another Trump University scam that is just waiting to be shut down.  They pressure these people into signing contracts that they never show or explain to them on a computer and leave them with mountains of debt when selling them "cheap" student loans which are not cheap in the long run. And worst of all is that they take the G.I bills from our veterans and leave them with disappointment and wasted years.

These are words from an anonymous person voicing a complaint regarding the Los Angeles Film School. If you have any questions or resolutions, please contact!
